In Tahoe we get both extremes. Massive Sierra storms that dump inches an hour with little to no visibility, and also the bluebird days where the California sun will easily give you a goggle tan.

Every DSCND goggle comes with two magnetic lenses, giving you a dedicated lens for both low-light and bright conditions without having to buy any additional lenses.

BUILT FOR THE WEATHER

We spent time testing photochromic lenses from other brands before developing DSCND. While we liked the idea of one lens adapting to changing light, we didn't feel the technology gave us the performance we wanted at both ends of the spectrum.

Instead, we chose to build two purpose-driven lenses.

Our Rose low-light lens features 51% VLT, allowing more visible light through for storm days, overcast skies and flat light.

Our Dark Smoke lens features 6% VLT, reducing visible light for bright, sunny days when you need greater protection from strong mountain sunshine.

Every DSCND goggle includes both.

A Clear Lens that features 82% VLT, can be purchased separately and integrates into both the Barker and Trestle goggles.

SWAP IN SECONDS

Changing lenses should be easy and affordable.

Our magnetic lens system allows you to quickly remove one lens and swap another into place in seconds. Pull the existing lens away from the frame, align the replacement lens, and let the magnetic system guide it securely into position.

Always check that the lens is completely seated before dropping in.

We developed and tested our lenses at home in Tahoe, where the two extremes are incredibly common. From there, we took them with us around the globe to experience different snow, weather, light, and terrain before settling on the final two lenses you see here today.

The concept is simple: two purpose-built lenses, fast magnetic swapping, and the ability to adapt when the mountain changes.
